Cosmic Campers – Booking Term & Conditions

Vehicles

• The Cosmic Campers is a gated camping ground.
• Nevertheless, all vehicles of any sort are parked at their owners’ risk. The Cosmic Campers accept no liability for loss or damage to cars, 4WD, Roof-Top-Tent, SUVs, motorbikes, bicycles or other vehicles.

Booking Confirmation:

• Your booking confirmation will be sent via email and / or Whatsapp. Please check your Booking Confirmation details and send us an acknowledgment message, once received.

Payment, Cancellation or Changes (by camper):

• Your payment is made online and in full, 7 days before your booking date.
• If you cancel 3 days before your arrival date, 50% will be refunded from the total payment.
• If you cancel 2 days before your arrival date, 30% will be refunded from the total payment.
• If you cancel the day before OR on your arrival date, there will be no refund of the total payment.

Arrival and Departure

• Check-In is from 9am onwards and late check-ins are permitted. Your campsite should be vacated by 12noon on the day of departure. For late checkouts, please let us know in advance. A rate of RM10 per hour is applicable based on availability of the campground.
• If you do not contact us and you have not arrived by noon, on the day following the booking start date, your booking will be canceled and there will be no refund.
• If you come a day later than the booking start date, there will be no refund for your first day of booking.

Special Requests

• If you have special requests or needs, kindly let us know in advance, please.
• If you have a disability that may affect your stay, please tell us before we confirm your booking.
• We will do our best to accommodate you and will let you know if we are not able to meet your needs.

Other available bookings/stays

• Day guests are charged RM40, based on bookings and availability of campground, and will need to vacate the campsite by 5pm
• Long Term Guests:
  • Monthly – RM1,200 (parking + campground + amenities only)
  • Weekly – RM300 (parking + campground + amenities only)
• Private functions – campground will be closed to the public while adhering to strict SOPs set during the pandemic with limited head count.

Swimming Pool

• Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, self-hygiene is to be practiced at all times.
• Please rinse yourself before entering the pool and after using the pool
• No more than 5 people in the pool at any one time.
• Please use proper swimming attire when in the swimming pool.
• The pool is free and accessible to campers 24 hours.
• Non-campers may use the pool when there are no campers – RM5 per day

Freezer

• NO PORK & ALCOHOL ALLOWED
• You may store your food that needs refrigeration (Meat for BBQ & vegetables) in the freezer.
• Please ensure your food is labeled with your name and stored in sealant plastic bags or containers

Pets

• Pets are permitted at our campsite. Please pick up your pets poop(Shit)
• Ensure all pets are kept on a leash and not left to wander around.

Cleanliness Policy

• Please leave your campsite and its surroundings in a clean and tidy state, upon your departure.
• It is a condition of your stay, that you wash all campsite cooking equipment and dishes used during your stay.
• We reserve the right to charge a cleaning cost if any area used within the campsite is not left in the same condition as originally found.

Noise Policy and Behaviour

• The Cosmic Campers campsite is a relaxed, quiet and stargazing site with sounds of waves crashing. Loud music and musical instruments of any kind will spoil the serenity of the night.
• There is a LOW NOISE POLICY from 10pm around the campsite. Please respect fellow campers.
• Nudity is strictly prohibited!
• The land adjoining the campsite is not owned by us, so please respect these areas.
• We reserve the right to remove any campers who do not follow these guidelines.

Rubbish Policy

• Please bring your own disposal bag for your rubbish
• Please dispose of your rubbish properly in designated areas.

Your safety

• There are no lifeguards on the campsite, so please have a watchful eye on your family and friends when they’re swimming. It is advisable to use the swimming pool instead.
• It is advisable NOT to swim in the ocean as the South China Sea currents create underwater dunes making the seabed uneven and deep in certain areas.
• Jellyfish are seasonal, so please be cautious. Please bring / use vinegar if stung.
• When swimming in the ocean, please stay close to the shore as the currents tend to suck you in and then out.
• You are free to explore the site, but children remain their parents’ responsibility at ALL times.
• We will not be held responsible or liable for any accident, loss or damage whatsoever to persons, vehicles, tents, accessories or contents during your stay with us.
• All campers and guests are responsible for their own safety and that of their belongings.

COOKING

• The use of gas cookers or naked flames is only permitted OUTSIDE your own tents whilst on the campsite. No cooking in tents. This is due to the risk of fire and carbon monoxide poisoning.
• All fires can be made on the beach only. Thank You for not damaging the campground.

WEATHER

• We reserve the right to close the campsite in extreme or dangerous weather conditions. This decision is solely at our discretion. Bookings will be fully refunded.
• We can take no responsibility for the weather conditions at the time of your visit. We recommend that you come prepared with suitable clothing and footwear, especially during the monsoon season between November till February.

MISCHIEF!!

• Weapons, dangerous materials and substances are not allowed on the campsite.
• We reserve the right to boot-out any campers if the above mention is displayed/used/consume
